Hi Everyone! here is a little sneak peek for what is to come of Holly and Drew’s wedding in Glorieta, New Mexico. I am in the process of transferring to an updated, sleek, awesome blog. So bare with me… I will have a humongous blog post dedicated to Holly and Drew posted on the new blog by this friday, and maybe a little sooner, we’ll see. Trust me, it will be worth the wait. Holly and Drew… you have so many wonderful images… I am having the most difficult time deciding which to post, there are just too many! I hope your honeymoon is the time of your life!

I have been doing some major catching up and yet I still feel so far behind. I have lots of events and things yet to be blogged. I thought this whole blogging once or twice a week thing would be easy, but it seems to be harder than I thought. Sterling and I will be leaving Friday morning to shoot a wedding in New Mexico and we are uber excited about that!! There will be lots of blog posts to come afterwards. Just to catch you up on the latest events in my life… I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Sam Houston with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography! It was a joyous day and I can’t believe it has already come and gone.

Here’s me with my hubby

and here’s linden, sterling, me, robyn, and austin… i love this shot

this is mel, i don’t know what i would do without her. She is my best friend forever and I love her so much. don’t we look cute with our matching bangs :)

sterling and I with our most amazing friends… the g-rights

here is my sweet baby drew and his aunt ashton…

here’s me and sterl at the astros game.. we have gone to a few over the past few months…

this photo obviously needs some explaining… just recently I have acquired studio lighting and backdrops. The Lord provided all of it through the generosity of some certain special people ;) One night I really wanted to experiment and since sterling wasn’t home, spent the whole evening photographing things. I of course got bored with that and was relieved when sterling got home from practice. I asked him to model for me and he said he would only if he could drink his sweet tea while doing it. I settled for that. These photos obviously show our lack of space in our apartment.

i will be posting more of my latest events and endeavors when I get back home. don’t give up on me, i am trying to blog more! :)

I was privileged to photograph the HHS Prom last night. It was a lot of fun to see everyone dressed up all beautiful! I will most likely be up all night getting the orders ready to be uploaded to the lab. I am going to do less than a one week turn around for this event because Sterling and I will be flying to New Mexico on friday!! We will be shooting a wedding in Glorieta. It is going to be so fun! Needless to say, I have a lot to do this week in order to get everything completed and delivered.

here is the prom king and queen. Aren’t they beautiful?!

Hey Everyone! Here is Brenna’s post. I had such a hard time choosing her images to put on the blog, I think I could have easily put them all. Brenna, you are such a beautiful young woman! I hope you like these!  Brenna showed me around her house and I was thrilled to see railroad tracks, a beautiful pond, and an awesome old truck all basically in her yard :) I just love it when the people I photograph have ideas for locations that are meaningful to them. It always makes the session more interesting. A note to everyone who has a session posted on my blog: feel free to drag and drop your photos onto facebook or wherever! That is part of the fun of having your photograph taken, to show them off to your friends and family :)
